Maura Grace Ambrose
Born in Middletown, Maryland in 1982. When she was seven, she moved to Lake Mary, Florida with her family. Throughout the years that she lived in Florida she found her love for fishing, swimming, bike riding, horses, mud, and the beach. When she was fourteen, her family moved to Cary, North Carolina and this is where she found her love for good old boys, rednecks, and the Appalachian Mountains. She left home and went to college down in Savannah, Georgia at Savannah College of Art and Design. This is where she found her love for Fiber Arts, a man named Chapman and warm summer nights. Maura and Chapman got married in Philadelphia where they helped co-found Part Time Studio's.
They are currently traveling around America in a 1970 VW camper van, visiting friends and family, and collecting inspiration for their next life endeavor!
In the past Maura has worked on organic farms, made quilts, designed sets, and collaborated on photo shoots, video productions, and fine art exhibitions.
Some of these things have been featured in Home Companion Magazine, MTV Real World Set, Design Sponge Online, Urban Outfitters Blog, and J. Crew's website.
